I was lucky enough to spend one of my university years in San Diego, California, and so I have a special place in my heart for SoCal.
This spring I returned to San Diego, as well as Newport Beach and Palm Springs. I took a helicopter ride, went sea kayaking, ate delicious local shellfish and of course, revisited my old haunts around the beachfront idyll that is La Jolla, just north of San Diego.
